Morgan 3 Wheeler – Has Arrived in Cornwall

The first Morgan 3 Wheeler in Cornwall has just arrived at Perranwell Garage. Finished in hot red, with tan leather interior and the optional bright pack, the car looks stunning. The car is available to view in our showroom at the Garage, which is open 6 days a week (we are closed Sunday).

The first public appearance of the Morgan 3 Wheeler was at the  Goodwood festival of speed in June 2011, where it was driven up the famous hill climb by the Earl of March at the start of the festival. The car attracted a lot of interest from visitors including a few famous names such as J Leno and Dizzee Rascal. J Leno was with a film crew shooting a short film about the 3 Wheeler. 

In addition to the Bespoke and Sports models, visitors also got a chance to see for the first time the limited edition Superdry version of the 3 Wheeler, with its bold and stylish Superdry livery. Only 200 will be produced. 

The event also gave the opportunity for a selection of respected motoring journalists to drive the car for the first time, on the roads around Goodwood located on the Sussex downs. That and subsequent feedback has been very positive, it even led to the Telegraph Motoring Section running a full page spread dedicated to the Morgan 3 Wheeler. Many reviews focused on the fun aspect of the 3 Wheeler. The car is of course unlike anything else on the road and delivers stunning performance combined with a truly unique motoring experience. Modern cars have over time got larger, ever more complex and seem to increasingly isolate the driver from the raw sensations of ‘driving’.  The 3 Wheeler does the exact opposite. 

The Morgan 3 Wheeler is an iconic design but has been updated with 21st technology making it ‘fun’ yet easy to drive. Driving the car will be by modern standards a delightful assault on all your senses. The sound track from the V twin, the view through the aero screens, being open to the elements and the wonderful sense of connection with the road through the direct yet light unassisted steering. 

For those who have driven the Morgan 3 Wheeler,  the common theme in the praise it receives has been ‘enjoyment’ . All seem to agree that the Morgan 3 Wheeler puts the fun back into driving, at whatever the speed. As one journalist remarked “The 3 Wheeler is a superb reminder of what the thrill of driving is all about”.
