MORGAN PLUS 8 (4.8 Litre)
The Morgan Plus 8 is back. The new Plus 8 makes the most of technology from the aircraft industry to achieve an unladen weight of just 1100kgs. This makes the New Morgan Plus 8 the lightest V8 passenger car in the world approved to European safety standards.
With a power to weight ratio of 333bhp + per tonne, the car is exceptionally quick with a 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds . This power combined with an exceptionally stiff chassis and excellent response to driver input makes this 'a true drivers car' which will be at home both in town and on the open road.
The New Plus 8 will also be offered with an optional automatic transmission. It provides two modes 'sport' and 'auto', with scope to improve performance and economy.
It is the most comfortable classic Morgan that has ever been built by Morgan cars. Air conditioning, leather interior, mohair hood and a branded stereo with speakers will form part of the standard equipment. Each car can be customised to suite the individual owners taste from a comprehensive list of cost options.
