VEHICLE DESCRIPTION & HISTORY
This 1970 MGB GT was completely restored by the MG specialist Tim Kelly (St Agnes, Cornwall) in 2001. In 2011 it had a new unused 1,860cc Stage 2 Peter Burgess engine fitted with waterpump, Alloy rocker cover and heavy duty clutch. The car looks stunning finished in red with Moss chrome wire wheels and a black interior. It has been fastidiously maintained and been continually updated since its rebuild (see below for detail) including new front calipers, new uprated semi elliptic road springs and new stainless steel exhaust. Mileage is based on total of original engine plus the new engine and can be supported by reference to historical MOTs. For more information please give us a call.

November 2011 : New K&N Filters fitted plus a new Motolita leather steering wheel, plus new sports coil, HT leads and new rear brake master cylinder.
December 2011 : New and unused 1860cc Stage 2 Peter Burgess engine fitted, with new water pump, Alloy Rocker cover and heavy duty clutch with release bearing. The cost of the engine to build was £3,000. Also fitted a new 123 electronic distributor, twin SU carburettors and a new stainless steel exhaust. Peter Burgess graph indicates 95 bhp from engine.
2014 : New 12 vold Bosch battery installed to replace to 6 volt ones. Four new Moss Chrome wire wheels fitted, new uprated front anti roll bard and bushes and new front and rear shock absorbers fitted.
August 2016 : New front brake pads and replacement front brake calipers fitted. Remaining old rear brake cylinder replace. Mileage then 13,755. The MOT evidence confirms these values to be the second rotation of the oddometer therefore 113,755.
July 2019 : All transmission fluids replaced, new oil cooler and hoses installed. Speedometer drive to the gearbox renewed and new spedometer fitted. New speedo shows 000000 miles showing but actual mileage should be 116,300.
2019 later : New brake and clutch fluid Automect SBF silicone non-hydroscopic added to the hydraulic system.
The car has a current MOT with no advisory indications.
