This beautiful Jaguar E-type Series 2 4.2 fixed head coupe is an exceptional car with a lot of history. Originally sold by Chichester Automobiles in January 1969 it has had just 4 owners from new, with the current owner having owned the car since 2007. Between Nov 1993 and early 1995 the car underwent a ground up restoration, which was carried out by South Coast Classic cars who were a specialist in Jaguar restoration. No expense was spared in restoring this car to ‘as new condition’, which included the replacement of many of the panels including the bonnet and numerous other parts (details available). The current owners bought the car in November 2007 with a mileage showing of 18,918. The car then underwent a major mechanical overhall by the renowned specialists Eagle E-Types in East Sussex. This extensive work included the replacement and upgrade of numerous parts and cost in excess of £23,000, the car was completed in the spring of 2008 (details available). Not only does this car look fabulous with its carefully considered upgrades, but it is an abosolute delight to drive. Its unusual to find a car with so much history, which has both been kept by caring owners and been maintained, restored and upgraded by respected specialists in this iconic mark.
