VEHICLE DESCRIPTION & HISTORY

This MGB Roadster was first registered in March 1966. Finished in Mineral blue with a black interior it presents and drives well. It was subject to a major engine rebuild in the 2006 which included replacement of many other ancillary parts including the distributor, alternator (replacing the dynamo), radiator and the fitting of pancake filters. At this time the electrical polarity was updated to negative earth.

In 2009 the car was completely stripped down, both doors were replaced and the car underwent a complete respray. At the same time the dash was refurbished and a re-conditioned gearbox and overdrive fitted. Photographic evidence of the work carried out is available.

The Mineral blue paintwork has a good depth of shine, the chrome work is in good condition and the car has recently benefited from the fitting of brand new minilite style wheels. The black leather seats are undamaged and have a nice patina. The wooden Motolita wooden steering wheel is a good addition to the cockpit . Overall this is a smart and usable MGB Roadster.
